Security Training For Seafarers With Designated Security Duties

Our objective is to create an institution which provides an platform for mariners and all those who seek professional avenues in fields related to the maritime industry so that it can lead to higher realms of learning as well as give that professional edge to succeed better.

Pre-Sea Training Course for G.P. Ratings is offered by Marine Training Academy.The course is fully residential as per the Directorate General of Shipping norms, requiring all the trainees to reside in-house. The course will cover all aspects of the sea-faring profession (Deck and Engine).

The course meets the requirements laid down in Regulations Vl/6 paragraph 4 to 6 Section A-VI/6 Paragraph 6 to 8 and Table A-VI/6-2 of the STCW Convention 1978 as amended. The candidate has also met the additional criteria specified in the STCW Convention applicable to the issue of the certificate.

BOSIET course is offered by Suraksha Marine. The policy of Suraksha is to provide manpower, marine management, engineering/ maintenance services and training as required by requirements of Global offshore oil & Gas Industry & STCW.

Basic Safety Training (STCW) course is offered by BIMT. The STCW Basic Safety Training course (STCW95 & STCW 2010) and STSTSD is required to be undertaken by all seafarers in accordance with section A-Vl/1 of the STCW Code.
