Our ever popular Senior Open Hip Hop class uses the latest music and choreography and explores “dancing from the heart and story telling as part of our lyrical hip hop style.

Located in the Newcastle suburb of Cardiff, the Australian Dance & Talent Centre allows students to grow their passion for performing arts in one location.
We offer a range of classes across the disciplines of dance, singing, acting and musical instruments to allow children to develop a cross-section of talents.
Our classes can be taken in a recreational capacity for students who want a broad range of skills or at an exam level for those who wish to see how far their abilities can take them.

Hip Hop Dance Lessons are offered by VIP Dance. Dancing is great for all ages and VIP has dance classes or individual dance tuition for learning to dance or dancing for exercise.
Hip hop dance has a very current vibe to it making it extremely popular toward students, this style is so helpful in teaching dancers the understanding of movements such as isolations, depth, ticking, hitting and release just to name a few.
A more freestyle form of dance, Hip Hop is an arena for dancers from the ages of 2.5 years and different experiences to incorporate their own style and flavour. With this in mind, there is still a focus on correct technique including body placement and alignment.
MAPA is well known for our annual “Express Yourself” showcases which highlight the incredible work of our students throughout the year.
