Serger Classes course is offered by B-Sew Inn.
Our company began as “The Vacuum Shop”, a small vacuum cleaner shop in Muskogee, OK. The store consisted of approximately 250 square feet and was established by Jim and Sharon Stewart in 1981.
Lewis and Becky Godby purchased the shop in 1985, which consisted of approximately $5,000 in inventory and no employees. In June of 1986, Godby leased a new custom-built building with 950 square feet and added sewing machines.
The store’s name changed to "Godby's Sew-N-Vac Shoppe” and continued to expand. In 1988, Godby purchased "The Sewing Machine Store" in the Farm Shopping Center in Tulsa, OK and expanded to include multiple machine brands.
Open Sew is a time set aside for sewing on whatever project you desire. If you have a newer machine and want a bit of advice as you sew - COME join us! Got an unfinished project and desire a little hand holding - Come join us!
After completing this class, kids and teens will feel empowered to create their own designs. We have a skill building philosophy so that kids have what it takes to imagine, plan and create. Home Room is where creativity meets practical skills to build confidence, a sense of accomplishment and pride
For your original designs and ideas, you can schedule a one-on-one class with Mary. This is best if you have a specific project in mind that we can work on together.
Students master the proper execution of 20 basic, fine dressmaking techniques. Students must bring their personal sewing machines, a binder (to create a sewing notebook), and items from the class supply list at the top of this page.
This is such a fun project and perfect for this time of year! Take a large candy bag and create a zippered, lined, quilted pouch. The bigger the bag, the easier to turn your project right side out when finishing up-- sounds like a good excuse to get the Family Size bag of your favorite candy!
