Have you always wanted to learn how to sew but did not know where to start? Do you have a sewing machine that has been sitting in your closet for years because it intimidates you?

If so, this one-on-one class is for you. We will focus on increasing your confidence, skill building and progressive development.

Level: This one-on-one class is perfect for someone with little to no sewing experience.

Skills developed:

  • Identify different types of fabric (material, weight, etc)
  • Go over sewing notions and tools and learn what they are used for
  • Sewing machine anatomy and tips if you are looking to buy one
  • Learn how to use a sewing machine
  • Follow pattern instructions
  • How to layout pattern pieces
  • Cut fabric in a straight line
  • Sew a straight line
  • Turn corners
  • Top-stitching
  • How to end up with a professional looking project every single time

  • You will leave with a completed project
