Do you have a sewing machine or serger (overlock) or coverstitch machine and don’t how to use it? Thinking about learning to sew? This class will cover so much in a short time about the sewing machine. We’ll wind the bobbin and install it, thread the machine, adjust stitch length and width, backstitch, use some of the different stitches, review the accessories included in package and make an embroidered pincushion.
For overlocks, we will spend lots of time on threading so you won’t be apprehensive is something comes unthreaded! Outside of the pincushion, there is no sewing instruction in this class.

Adult Sewing School is created to teach you individual techniques. These skills will later enable you to create an item with a professional finish because you will know how to create the seam or dart the pattern is calling for.
