Students will make a tote bag with lining and interior pocket, and will learn how to design and make a lined bag with zipper.

In this foundation studio course, students will complete practical projects in fabricating garments using principles and techniques of garment construction.
Learn all about triangles and several ways to make half square triangles (HST's), quarter square triangles, and eighth square triangles, flying geese and other angled triangles. Each week you will learn a new technique and how to perfect your techniques.
Comfortable summer halter dress with an opening at the front neck. The halter meets and ties at the back. You will learn to sew easy seams and simple machine hems. Can be worn belted or not. Belt is part of the pattern.
