In this course you will learn how to create a portfolio ready garment, as well as a mini fashion collection, including mood board inspiration, hand drawn fashion illustrations, and fabric swatches, all things you will need to complete for your formal applications.
This is an open sewing class allowing you freedom to work on a project of your choice (approved by instructor according your sewing skills). You will be guided thru the entire process of your project at your own pace by learning to read & understand patterns
Hand Sewing is a great class for the youngest sewers. Students will learn multiple hand stitches while completing fun projects. All materials are provided. Students may need to provide a 12? pillow form for 1-2 projects.
This class will cover so much in a short time about the sewing machine. We’ll wind the bobbin and install it, thread the machine, adjust stitch length and width, backstitch, use some of the different stitches, review the accessories included in package and make an embroidered pincushion.
Looking for a sewing project that is eco friendly, stylish, and practical? Join us for a tote bag sewing workshop! During this project-based workshop, we’ll talk a bit about design and planning before diving in to making our own tote bags.
