Spool of Thread offers a range of sewing lessons, from students who have never sewed before (Sewing Machine 101) to more advanced students taking our Free Range Slacks or Hollyburn Skirt.
Spool of Thread Sewing Lounge opened in the spring of 2010 to create a space for Vancouver’s sewists to learn, share and find beautiful materials with other sewists in the community.
From our Sewing Lounge where we teach classes and rent sewing machines by the hour, to our fabric shelves, full of beautiful materials from around the world, each element of Spool of Thread is hand selected to inspire you to start your next sewing project.

Rebecca will lead you through the basics of learning to quilt. She has a lot of tips and tricks to make the quilt making process easy and enjoyable. You'll get to choose your own fabrics and learn about design and construction.
