Sewing Class (Adults)

Sewing tuition classes are offered by The Stitchery for all ages and skill level. If you would like to master sewing skills, have a sewing project that you would like help and guidance or would like to progress to the next level with a business idea then join us. 

This 10-week course is designed to introduce you to the fundamental skills of sewing. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to refresh your skills, this course will provide you with the knowledge and practical experience to create your own garments and home decor.

Handling courses on all sewing machines any make any model. Having trouble with your sewing, not getting the best out it. We do handling courses on all sewing machines. Learn how to get the most out your machine. How to do different techniques, eg, Buttonholes, Blind hemming etc.

The Dressmaking course we offer is suitable for both beginners and progressing sewing students. Delivered in a step by step process within 10 weeks, beginners will go from learning how to thread machine to wearing their finished garment.

In these six evening sessions you will learn how to create four of our in-house sewing patterns and master a range of techniques to get you confidently started on your sewing journey. By the end of the course you will have a range of beautiful, functional items for your life and home.
