You’ll learn all about threading the machine then make lots of little projects such as a tote bag, bunting, zipped and lined make up bag, a piped cushion AND there is time at the end for you to start your own project with our help.

This is a course designed for complete beginner who have never used a sewing machine before. During the course you will learn some key skills while completing 3 projects. A cushion cover, tote bag and a zip top pouch. The course includes all materials.

All our adult classes are mixed ability and mixed project. Every student has the opportunity to make what they want to make with expert guidance and support. This means we can have a wedding dress being made along side piped cushions! The classes are small between 3-5 participants.
Get started with a practice session creating samples to help you sew in a straight line, understand the importance of seam allowances, learn the many functions on your machine and tension for the fabric type.
