Time to forget that terrifying Home Economics Class from back in the day- we are the opposite! You’ll learn all about threading the machine then make lots of little projects such as a tote bag, bunting, zipped and lined make up bag, a piped cushion AND there is time at the end for you to start your own project with our help.
Sew Confident is the place to Sew, De-Stress and Be Social! We provide a range of classes set in a friendly and social environment. We know you have busy stressful lifestyles and we want to introduce you to a new hobby or help you revisit or improve an existing hobby!
This is the perfect course to start your sewing journey, over the course you gradually build up your skills, techniques and knowledge. We teach everything you need to know to be able to confidently sew basic projects and complete simple dressmaking.
The course consists of 5 units, each of which takes you through all the great functions step by step, building your knowledge of the software and guiding you through every stage, building your confidence to try new things.
Work on your own choice of project or on Carole's choice of project. Please book a seat to avoid disappointment.
With very little or no sewing experience, this adult beginner’s class is designed to help you make a project from scratch. Want to create your own clothes but the thought of dressmaking patterns terrifies you? We will guide you through from start to finish.
We can chat through how classes work and what projects you will sew. Once you are ready to start, we’ll check availability and book you in to your first machine sewing class! Classes run Wednesdays to Fridays with limited space on Saturdays.
