A project run by Granton Parish Church and funded through the Church of Scotland Go For It programme and The Robertson Trust. Working with the local community of Granton to ‘Go Greener’.
Sewing classes are offered by Llanover Hall Arts for all skill level. We also offer half term and holiday classes. The center provides a welcoming space for everyone interested in pursuing the arts in a variety of different mediums.
You’ll learn how to use a pattern block, sew double point darts, insert sleeves or add a sleeve facing, add a neck facing, put in an invisible zip and finish hems perfectly. What’s more you’ll get a truly professional finish while learning to use one of our Janome overlockers.
These workshops are perfect for children aged 8 yrs and above. These classes are for children who would love to learn how to sew. You will learn along side your child to make a beautiful hand sewn project to take home.
This course is ideal for developing your sewing skills. It will cover all aspects of garment making from selecting a pattern to the finishing touches. These skills may help you towards a career in the field of fashion.
Our Learn to Sew Stage 1 Sewing Course is designed for complete beginners or those wishing to brush up on existing skills. When students arrive they are taken through setting up a sewing machine, either their own machine if they choose to bring one, or one of ours.
