A family owned business with classic customer service, Heights Sewing Centre in Pakington Street, Geelong West, is a Geelong institution. Owned by Ken Wilks and his wife Marjorie, our centre is just as well-known for our friendly staff as it is for our quality sewing machines.
You will learn to sew: a top with sleeves, a skirt with zipper, and an easy dress. Set in sleeves . Also, you will learn how to do the fitting for your body.
Come and learn from an experienced Handi Quilter Educator in our Beginner workshop, aimed to build your confidence in machine quilting.
Learn to make a pattern and sew a skirt followed by a fitted top, then I will show you how to alter the top pattern and turn it into a princess line dress.
Learn to sew using a sewing machine! Build skills and techniques for making clothes and accessories. Our Beginners course runs on Tuesday evenings 6.30 – 9pm over 6 weeks from Jan 31st and is now full.
The beginners sewing class at Tatyana’s School of Couture is now available. You will learn the fundamentals of sewing, from fabric choice to various techniques ensuring a strong foundation through the creation of useful and practical items. Â
