Sewing Class course is offered by KTR Sewing Centre.
KTR Sewing Centre first opened its doors before we were born in downtown Winnipeg with a previous name and location long forgotten. A "few" years later, a few store names, locations and owners later.
We took ownership of The Sewing Gallery from Herb and Shirely Wildeman on July 1st, 2004. In 2005, we changed our name to Quilt as Desired and in 2006 and moved to Pembina Highway in the River Heights area.
That location had better parking and classroom space than downtown; however, we soon outgrew it and knew that we needed to find a bigger home for the store. After years of searching, we found the perfect location and plans were put in place to make the move to bigger and better.
This move was also the opportune time for a store name change that would better reflect and identify us to all sewists. Our new home at 650 King Edward Street in Winnipeg offers us 4,000 square feet of space along with parking for over 20 vehicles.
Welcome to our website! Whether it's buying a sewing machine, knitting yarn or craft materials, you've come to the right place. We also offer sewing machine maintenance and repair services, clothing alteration, as well as sewing and knitting classes.
