If you love a creative kid, you know they are always ready to learn the next thing at craft time. Let us introduce them the world of sewing! Our kids sewing series are different from level to level to allow your child to advance to more complicated projects as they learn.
Start your quilting journey in this beginner class instructed by Lyshia. This class breaks down the basics of quilting for those with very little experience. Learn about fabric selection, colour, fabric prep, cutting and mastering a quarter inch seam allowance for accurate piecing.
This is a 3-month course. Intro to Sewing is all about learning the machine. Throughout these three months students will learn the functions of the sewing machine and most importantly how to use them properly.
In Apparel Construction students will be working on their desired project(s), within their sewing level, whether it’s intermediate or advanced, our expert sewing instructors will help guide them towards mastering the different sewing techniques and push their design boundaries.
In this one day workshop participants will learn the basics of using a sewing machine. Dani will take participants step by step through the process of sewing the Gather Stowaway Tote. This project is designed and tested in our studio.
