Students bring along their own project to work on at their own pace, supported by our sewing tutors.
We love teaching children the timeless skills of sewing and design. In our sewing studio we provide all the materials and equipment for students to jump into their creative journey.
We love visits from home sewists and corporate groups who are welcome to come and sew with us, or teach us new skills.
Learn the fundamentals of sewing as we work our way through a series of fun, simple projects, from the most basic stitching on a drawstring bag, to zippers on cushion covers, and then to working with patterns and sewing a garment as you make a pair of pajama pants.
This is a nice simple bag to make, it doesn't take a lot of fabric and it requires minimal hardware. I think in the class time you will easily finish one bag and get started on a second.
A relaxing class of meditative slow stitching whilst learning about the health benefits of creativity. This class is all about enjoying the process and how to use textile therapy as a means of stress relief.
Join Jo & Jo2 in store on Tuesdays from 5.30pm for an evening of creativity. Bring your own project and machine if required or we can find a new project to help inspire you.
