Klum House founder Ellie Lum will teach you all of the ins and outs of the sewing machine, demystifying basic techniques and helping you troubleshoot common problems. By the end, you’ll be confident enough to jump on your machine and tackle your first projects!

In this class, Klum House founder Ellie Lum will totally demystify the sewing machine and help you build a solid foundation of knowledge. Using a sewing machine for the first time can be intimidating, but these easy-to-follow video tutorials will break it all down.

You’ll learn to identify all of the knobs, levers, and buttons on your machine and then move on to some basic sewing techniques, such as winding a bobbin and threading your machine. You’ll also get an in-depth overview of machine tension and timeline and learn how to troubleshoot all of the most common sewing machine problems.

Finally, Ellie will teach you how to sew a simple handkerchief so you can put your new skills into action!
