Hiring a sewing machine gives your own workspace and dedicated sewing machine. This also includes the use of all of our equipment and notions we have about the studio including overlockers and irons.

Cutting Tables are available to hire separately – However if you have hired a sewing machine and the Cutting Tables are not being used – then you are welcome to use them!
You must have completed our ‘Learn to Sew’ short course or have other relevant sewing experience as this is very much student lead with a gentle push while we host other workshops in the studio.

This workshop is designed to quickly walk you through the basics, build your confidence and get you started on the exciting journey of sewing and mending! Using a sewing box or sewing machine, easily creating new garments as well as mending.
The 'Learn to Sew' Classes / Workshops are Fun and Informal and a great way to make new friends. They are designed to help you learn the basic techniques to get going on your sewing journey. I will guide you so that you actually understand the sewing machine and sew your own samples.
Interested in learning to sew? In this course, you’ll be taught how to use a sewing machine and learn the basics, and make a custom accessory.
This course is aimed at absolute beginners who would like to start making clothes, cushions, bags, alterations etc and want to learn a wide range of sewing and construction techniques on a weekly basis to enable them to go onto do this.
The sewing classes have been a great way for attendees to make friends with people with similar interests. Every attendee got the opportunity to socialise in a safe environment, even throughout the pandemic. Attendees could fine-tune their skills or learn from scratch with a professional tutor.
