Stenography is the mixture of two different classes, Typewriting and Shorthand. Stenography comprises skills in Shorthand, Transcription and Typewriting.
The Stenographers’ Guild is a society registered under the Societies’ Registration Act, 1860. The Guild runs on “No Profit No Loss” basis with the motto “Selfless Service to the Society”. The Guild runs its administration by way of its meagre course fees and donations received from like-minded philanthropists.
The foundation stone for the institution was laid by the former Chief Minister of Tamilnadu, Late. Shri. C. Rajagopalachari

By way of its own sponsorship and sponsorships from various departments of Government of TamilNadu, other voluntary and non-voluntary organizations, etc., the Guild offers them free education and training and arranges employment for them.
