This 20 week course is designed to teach you how to communicate with deaf people in British Sign Language (BSL) on a range of topics that involve simple, everyday language use.
You will gain the basic skills and confidence in production and reception of British Sign Language. This qualification runs for 20 weeks and is assessed through conversations in British Sign Language and a practical assessment of skills.
Who Is This Course For?
This course is aimed at learners that wish to learn new communication skills ad a whole new language. This British Sign Language (BSL) Level 1 course will teach you the skills to help people with complex communication disabilities. Along with learning to sign alphabets and numbers, this course will prepare you to communicate effectively in sign language.
