Singing Lessons are offered by Eclectic Music. Our first step is choosing to work with versatile, experienced, personable teachers for whom music education is a priority. The very best teachers have established procedures that ensure success, yet they can adapt their approach to suit an individual student.
We don't stop there. After your first lesson, we will check in with you to see how things went, and will continue to connect with you periodically to see whether your needs are still being met. If a change of teacher or instrument is necessary, we will help to make that transition as smooth as possible.
Our academic year is divided into two parts: the school-year term and the summer term. Lessons are weekly through the school year and flexible through the summer. During the academic year, tuition is paid in installments of four, in advance; during the summer, tuition is paid at the time of booking.
We believe effort is more important than talent, age is just a number, and the highest purpose of music is to uplift the human soul.
Founded on this philosophy by Casey von Neumann in 2002, Eclectic Music provides Atlanta opportunities for personal growth, self expression, and collaboration through music, for people of all ages and musical backgrounds.
Needless to say, after over 15 years of lessons, classes, parties, jam sessions, workshops, camps, recitals, and accidentally dropping picks inside of guitars, we’ve grown just a bit since the early days of Eclectic Music.
From a single studio and one teacher, we are proud to now offer music experiences to a few hundred students, from a few dozen teachers, at three in-town studios (Virginia-Highland, Morningside, Inman Park), and in-home!
All the while, maintaining that one singular vision of our foundation: to be the best music school in Atlanta as measured by the strength of our community, the achievement of our students, and the joy of everyone involved.
