Aims of the Course is to provide new entrants to the construction industry with basic health and safety knowledge and to comply with the requirements of the CSCS scheme to show competence in Health and Safety.

Assessment:
The assessment is by continuous assessment and a multiple choice exam.

This course is designed to give an understanding of the employees and employer’s responsibilities and site safety awareness in the construction / fencing industry.
This course is ideal for those who have entered, or are about to enter, the construction and civil engineering industry as a member of the workforce.
The course is aimed at those who want to gain an understanding of managing health, safety, welfare and environmental issues on construction sites. Delegates will analyse their duties and responsibilities with regards to Health and Safety and it will be discussed in interactive activities.
Designed for Site Managers, Project Managers and persons who are responsible for planning, organising, monitoring, controlling and administering a workforce.
