We have developed an introductory slinging/rigging training course that provides delegates with the knowledge and skills to safely carry out basic rigging and lifting operations.
The Basic Slinging & Lifting Course is designed for the operator who requires skills training in slinging, lifting and controlling of loads being lifted by a crane or using manual lifting equipment such as chain blocks.
This course is highly detailed and provides candidates with a wealth of knowledge. It covers the use of signals to direct crane users moving loads, determines the serviceability of lifting equipment/accessories and outlines how to maintain and store the equipment.
Slinger-Signaller training is offered by J&D Training Ltd. Courses at our centre are a flexible alternative to on-site training and are available all year round including Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays and are available to business or private customers.
???????On completion of the half-day programme, the delegates will be able to:- State the legal requirement affecting lifting gear and lifting machines Identify and use the correct methods of lifting
