The Slinger Signaller is the person that is responsible for attaching and detaching the load to and from the lifting equipment, for the correct use of lifting accessories and equipment in accordance with the planning of the operation and for initiating and directing the safe movement of the lifting equipment and load.

This course will provide you with the basic skills, knowledge and information to safely undertake the role of Slinger/Signaller. Participants will be able to Sling and Signal safely to an In House standard specific to company requirements.
The qualification enables delegates to show they are a competent operator in controlling lifting operations.
To provide thorough practical and theory training in operating a Slinger / Signaller and to enable the candidate to competently and safely carry out the role and pass the CPCS Theory and Practical Tests.
This course is aimed at inexperienced operatives who are required to undertake slinging and signalling for the movement of loads using lifting equipment. Candidates may be new to the role or may be those with limited experience and no formal training.
This is a half day course for persons involved in Slinging Loads for transportation.
