Correct communication established with the lifting equipment operator- Hand signals and two way radios
Inspection and selection of the correct lifting accessories as per the appointed persons lift plan
Stability of loads and stress factors in lifting accessories
Estimation of load weights
Safe use of lifting equipment and general slinging configurations
Safe slinging and movement of loads
End of shift safe shut down procedure and storage of accessories
