The Course Includes:
An introduction/ overview to the Lifting Operations and Equipment Regulations, Chain slings, Web slings, Wire slings, equipment, how to fit slings, identification of defects in slings, sling configurations, hazards and risks, empirical guides, load assessment and planning, use of standard sling equipment.
Various kinds of powered hoists (and hand operated where required) including overhead gantry hoists, safety guidelines and safety checks. This course also includes a formal assessment.
