Identify safe and correct use and pre-use examination of rigging and lifting equipment
Plan routine lifting operations and understand requirement for non-routine/ complex lift planning

Understand relevant legislation applicable to lifting operations
Understand the requirement of lifting operation risk assessment
Understand basic functions and safe working practices of offshore pedestal cranes and overhead travelling cranes

The Basic Slinging & Lifting Course is designed for the operator who requires skills training in slinging, lifting and controlling of loads being lifted by a crane or using manual lifting equipment such as chain blocks.
NPORS 402 – Slinger Signaller – course will give you the skills to carry out, Pre-Use Inspections of Lifting Tackle, Slinging Angles & Techniques, Load Movement & Effects to Lifting Equipment swell as Calculating Safe Working Loads & various other associated tasks.
The aim of our Slinger Signaller training course is to provide the candidate with the essential knowledge and skill to perform his tasks to the highest level.
By the end of the course the delegate should be able t understand and follow lift plans and select, attach and detach appropriate lifting accessories.
