Our Aims
We provide support, advice and training for the voluntary sector to build their capacity and take a leading role in helping communities. GCVS acts as an ‘honest broker’, working with both the public and the voluntary sectors to devise innovative ways of working, without participating in the delivery of public services.
Who would argue that life has become a roller coaster with many stresses and demands both physically and mentally; we are often too busy to eat well, breath well and sleep well.
Today’s workforce is experiencing job burnout and stress in epidemic proportions. Workers at all levels feel stressed out, insecure, and misunderstood. Many people feel the demands of the workplace, combined with the demands of home, have become too much to handle.
This one day practical and interactive course will introduce delegates to the vital resources they need to deal with stress at work and home. This course will be of benefit to all professionals who want to develop resilience and the tools and techniques to help manage stress.
