Childrens Classes are run in the school holidays currently rather than during term time but this could change at any time if there is enough interest.
If you dont see a class that you would like to do in your choosen topic please talk to us as we run a wish list system and once we have enough people a class will be arranged.
Here at Robyns Cottage we offer groups/classes across different crafts. Some set topic groups are offered on a regular basis ie once a month while classes are held as the demand is required.
Sunday afternoons is a great time to relax with some knitting or crochet and good company!Â
On this class you will be learning how to do basic knitting, from casting on, plain knitting, purling and casting off. I will also go over how to read a pattern. We will hopefully be able to make a hat, or Peggy square blanket, by the end of the course.
Have you ever wished to learn how to do patchwork? Â This is a private class which will take you through all the steps to learn how to patchwork.
This course now includes all levels of knitting. So you can knit and purl but want to be able to add more interest to your knitting? This course will look at techniques that add shape and interest to your knitting and can turn a plain piece of knitting into something that makes people go wow.
Learn the basics of knitting in this six hour class over three sessions - casting on, knit and purl stitches, increasing and decreasing and casting off. Bring a 50gm ball of double knitting (8 ply) cotton yarn and 4mm knitting needles.
