Solidworks is offered by Agni College of Technology (A.C.T.). Department of Training and Placement works as a catalyst by focusing on activities that enhance our student's employability and career development. The department of Training and Placement takes care of the following areas in order to achieve the same. 

They are career research and analysis, career guidance, professional development, advanced technology labs, industry institution partnerships, corporate relationships, Camus placements, and guidance toward higher education. The department also enables and assists our students in arranging guest lecturers, industry internships, in-plant training, and industrial visits.

300 Startups is a Knowledge Initiative from Agni College of Technology to kindle the entrepreneurial spirit of the students. This is also a big step in empowering women as all 300 Startups have Women CEOs. Agni Foundation has signed an MoU with ELCOT, Govt. of Tamil Nadu for Rs 1500 Crores during the Global Investor Summit 2019.

Students from all the 4 years have formed teams and started a company as a part of these 300 Startups. These companies focus on the Government Departments of Tamilnadu and will strive to solve an issue / create a product/service for that department.

Agni College of Technology (ACT) has established “Agni-Centre for Research and Development (Agni-CRD)” to provide high-quality research training for students, with a view to producing a new generation of young innovative professionals, to meet the emerging needs of industries and society. 

It also provides specialized administrative and managerial support for the operation of sponsored research, Industry Institute Interaction, consultancy and other R&D related activities
