Content
Level 1 covers the basics of the Spanish language – an understanding of the Spanish language, pronunciation and cultural facts. The content is sometimes varied slightly to suit the students in each course, but the basic lesson plan is:

As part of our dedication to delivering courses, we endeavour to find the right level of class to meet individual student needs. Please note class levels are subject to change depending on enrolment numbers and student abilities within each class.
For repeat students, please ask your teacher for advice when re-enrolling about a suitable class for your level. For new students, please contact us to discuss further your level of experience. We look forward to finding the right class for you!

We are a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) under the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA), the national regulator for Australia’s vocational education and training sector, and our supportive industry trainers are fully qualified.
The College also operates a High School, TLK Youth College, at the College’s Berkeley Vale site. The school provides an independent Board of Studies accredited alternative for young people.
As a general teaching approach, we focus on your communications skills rather than grammar and other more technical aspects of the Spanish language. That way you won’t just learn more efficiently, but you will find the classes to be more interactive and enjoyable.
This is for absolute beginners. We'll get you started with greetings and presentations, talking about yourself and asking about others, alphabet, pronunciation, numbers, and more. This is the first of the 4 courses which lead to achieving A1 level.
LSI offers carefully planned examination courses for the Basico and Superior courses, to prepare you for the examination.
