Content
Level 1 covers the basics of the Spanish language – an understanding of the Spanish language, pronunciation and cultural facts. The content is sometimes varied slightly to suit the students in each course, but the basic lesson plan is:

As part of our dedication to delivering courses, we endeavour to find the right level of class to meet individual student needs. Please note class levels are subject to change depending on enrolment numbers and student abilities within each class.
For repeat students, please ask your teacher for advice when re-enrolling about a suitable class for your level. For new students, please contact us to discuss further your level of experience. We look forward to finding the right class for you!

Emphasis is on vocabulary, everyday phrases and conversation. Grammar relevant to the skill level will also be introduced and expanded upon, depending on the level. Do you have a basic knowledge of this beautiful Romance language or are you a complete beginner with Spanish? Then come to this fun and enjoyable class, where we will focus on speaking, listening to, writing and reading Spanish, as well as learning about the culture of Spain and Latin America.
Are you planning to travel to one of the many places where Spanish is the native tongue. Widely spoken and culturally diverse, Spanish is the official language of over 20 beautiful countries. With its Latin origins, Spanish builds upon a long heritage of art.
Level 1 classes are Beginner language classes - no prior learning is expected or catered for. You will learn how to speak, write and read and have the opportunity to continue on to Level 2 in the following term.
