How to book your Spanish course with us?
If you're interested in learning, improving or practising your Spanish in a warm and friendly atmosphere, you've come to the right place. This is a unique wee space in the heart of Edinburgh; a place where people can get together and experience a little piece of Spain through our courses, activities and workshops and online lessons.
El Patio is a project developed by Must Be Spanish, a group of friends that years ago made a big decision: create a community of learners. We knew it wouldn't be easy but our motivation and enthusiasm helped us to work hard and believe in our shared dream.
Now, over 8 years and countless courses later, our aim to provide a new way of learning Spanish in Edinburgh and online has come to fruition. And buoyed by the success of our Spanish classes, we've since added Italian to the mix, extending our teacher family in the process.
All language courses focus on communication skills through task-based learning, with a particular emphasis on listening and speaking.
The Instituto Cervantes’ general Spanish language courses correspond to the A1-C1 levels established by the Council of Europe in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Our language classes are divided into Stages. Stage one is designed for real beginners whilst stage six and seven are for advanced learners. Check out the entry requirements to determine which stage is most appropriate for you.
