  • Your Spanish Classes is a project created by Estela Martínez, a native Spanish teacher located in Newcastle, Australia. She began her professional career as a Spanish teacher in 2009 in the UK, and after 9 years of experience and research in language teaching, decided to implement a methodology different from conventional methods, one based on conversation and the association of ideas. Estela worked for many years with children as coordinator of summer camps and extracurricular activities. She studied music for 8 years in the Conservatorio Profesional de Música de Valladolid, has university studies of the Spanish Language and Literature and is certified by the International Coach Federation as an expert in Coaching, Emotional Intelligence and Neurolinguistic Programming. She has worked in schools as a Spanish and music teacher with children from 2 to 8 years of age, taught private lessons in Spanish as a foreign language, she has also given private grammar lessons to university students and has worked together with other foreign language teachers helping them in their methodologies. All this training, along with other life experiences, have led her to develop a teaching program adapted for both children and adults.
