Our face-to-face classes for students in Prep-12 are held out of school hours in metropolitan and country/regional Centres of the VSL. These classes are held mainly on Saturday mornings. Some classes are run on weekday evenings. Check times locally.
The Victorian School of Languages (VSL) is a government school with a strong history of commitment to the provision of language programs for students in Years 1 to 12 who do not have access to the study of those languages in their mainstream schools. The school`s language program is delivered through face-to-face teaching in language Centres across the state and through Distance Education mode.
The school had its beginnings in 1935 when it started Saturday classes at MacRobertson Girls` High School for pupils who desired to learn modern languages. The first classes offered were in Italian and Japanese. Currently, the VSL offers over 40 languages around Victoria to 13,000 students in face-to-face classes and 1400 students in distance education.
The Immersion in Spanish for Travel Purposes Courses attracts professionals from different fields. It is one of the most sought after courses because it contains the core of the Spanish Language grammar in each of the meaningful course units.
This is for absolute beginners. We'll get you started with greetings and presentations, talking about yourself and asking about others, alphabet, pronunciation, numbers, and more. This is the first of the 4 courses which lead to achieving A1 level.
Whether you are a beginner, intermediate, advanced, or want to immerse yourself in the beautiful culture and/or travel around the world, now is the time to learn Spanish.
This course is for those with no prior knowledge of the language.
You will receive a certificate after you finish each level of your Spanish course upon request, which you can add in your CV and also it will be useful as a reference when you go study overseas.
