Giant Leaps provides specialist Speech-Langauge Therapy, Structured Literacy Support and Speech and Drama Classes. We have a handpicked team of speech-language therapists, literacy practitioners, and speech and drama teachers to collectively support communication development and success.
Does the mere thought of public speaking make you want to run a mile? Do you dread presentations? Public speaking is a learned skill. You will learn the techniques and have plenty of practice time. Become a confident speaker, and have fun getting there.
We create a supportive environment for developing your speaking skills. Our programme is interactive and run in a safe small group setting. You will be able to improve through non-threatening feedback.
This course covers preparation, content and delivery of many types of speaking. There will be many opportunities to practise speaking in a supportive environment, and you will receive constructive feedback to improve your speaking step-by-step.
Oral communication is such an important part of our everyday life, and often a lack of confidence in this area can have huge life consequences. With a maximum of 10 participants, this program is designed to meet the needs of all levels of presenters and speakers.
A strength in Public Speaking is one of the best gifts we can give our children. Oral language skills are taught at school, but few schools teach children the skills to speak in public with impact.
