All those who enrol and pass their standard first aid course will have the skills and training to manage a variety of emergencies.
Automated external defibrillator (AED) training and certification is also included in this course. After completing these courses, you will have the essential instincts to help yourself and those around you during emergencies.
Course Content:
Candidates who successfully enroll in standard first aid and CPR course will receive training in the following skills / knowledge:
CPR for adults, children and infants.
Conscious and unconscious obstructed victims (Choking rescues).
Respiratory emergencies including anaphylaxis, asthma and hyperventilation.
Circulatory emergencies (includes heart attacks, angina and strokes).
Deadly bleeding.
Internal bleeding.
Fractures and broken bones.
Sprains and strains.
Environmental emergencies.
Spinal injuries.
Poisons.
Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training.
Seizures
Diabetic Emergencies.
“No Pressure” Policy:
Unlike our competitors, at Winnipeg first aid we have a “no pressure” policy in which you are allowed to re-take the course if you do not complete it the first time.

Workplace Approved Certification:
After successful completion of the course, candidates will receive a workplace approved standard first aid and CPR level “C” or HCP certificate. The certificate is nationally accredited.
Refunds are not accepted within 72 hours of the course. Transfers within 72 hours of the course are charged $25.00. Prior to 72 hours of the course refunds and transfers are free of charge.

The Occupational First Aid Level 1 course is an 8-hour program, including coffee and lunch breaks. In order to be successful, candidates must demonstrate practical skill competency, achieve a minimum of 70% on a multiple-choice exam and attend the full course.
This comprehensive refresher course is done in a one-day hands-on in-class course.
This course meets Saskatchewan Occupational Health and Safety requirements.
This course is for those that want to instructor the Red Cross core programs of First Aid &/or CPR.
This 2-day program is designed to help rescuers recognize and respond to life-threatening emergencies and those with the potential to become so if not treated.
