Comprehensive Blended course offering first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for those who need training due to work requirements or who want more knowledge to respond to emergencies at home.
Course meets legislation requirements for provincial/territorial worker safety and insurance boards and includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines.
This course includes all current First Aid & CPR guidelines and is recognized by the Workplace Safety & Insurance Board (WSIB) / meets Ontario Health & Safety (OHS) regulation for First Aid.
Duration
Standard First Aid & CPR / AED Level C is a blended course with 4 – 6 hours of online knowledge training and 6 – 7 hours of in class skills training. This means that the in-class portion is a 1 day training session.
Once a participant registers for the class, an email will be sent with information regarding the online portion. This portion needs to be completed prior to the in-person date chosen for the class.
Certificate
Upon successful completion of both the online and in-class portion, all participants will receive a Standard First Aid & CPR / AED Level C Canadian Red Cross certification valid for 3 years.
