WorkSafeBC accepts our Canadian Red Cross Standard First Aid and CPR/AED Level C (Blended) course as equivalent to WorkSafeBC Occupational First Aid Level 1 (OFA 1).

This course meets CSA (Canadian Standards Association) Standard Z1210-17 for Intermediate First Aid.

This is our most popular course package, which includes CPR and choking procedures for adults, children, and infants, as well as basic and comprehensive first aid skills. It is designed for those interested in learning how to respond to a variety of emergencies.

Completion Requirements

  • 100% participation
  • Completion of practical examination
  • 75% or higher on written examination
  • Identity verified with government-issued photo identification

Upon Completion

  • An electronic Canadian Red Cross Standard First Aid and CPR/AED Level C (CSA Std. Z1210-17 – Intermediate) certification, valid for 3 years, will be issued within 2 business days after completing all course requirements.
