This modern, original quilt pattern by The Blanket Statement is appropriate for quilters of all skill levels and is a fast finish! In this workshop, we will be making the Throw size but the pattern includes beginner-friendly instructions for the following sizes:
The paper pattern is available for purchase in our brick and mortar shop (10% off for workshop participants) or you can purchase the PDF pattern directly from The Blanket Statement.
Materials (fabric, thread, batting) are not included in the price of this workshop. Upon registration you will receive an email from your instructor with a list of materials you should bring with you to the first class. We offer 10% off class materials purchased from Cut & Sew PHL.
This workshop spans 6 weeks and meets for 3 hours each time. We’ve planned our sessions for you to be able to finish a Throw sized quilt within the workshop timeframe but there’s a chance you may have some work to do outside class times to keep pace.
You may either sew at home or rent Studio Time at Cut & Sew PHL in this case (10% off Studio Time for workshop participants). Please let your instructor know if you are interested in quilting your quilt on the longarm instead.
This workshop requires at least two students to run. Registration is refundable only within the first 24 hours after purchase. After 24 hours, registration is not refundable or transferable.

If you love knitwear, knitting and learning new skills, you'll love this workshop! You'll learn the basics of knitting on a flatbed hobby knitting machine provided by the instructor and will make three or more projects during this six-week workshop.
If youāve never picked up needles or a hook (or if your skills are very rusty), you can take a Learn to Knit or Crochet Class.Ā
InĀ Learn to Knit 1, you will learn how to read a simple pattern, cast on, make the knit stitch, purl stitch, bind off, and create a smooth seam, all while making an adorable pillow.
This 1.5-hour introductory or refresher class covers all of the how-to-knit basics, namely casting on, knitting, binding off & finishing, while starting your first "real" project from a pattern, a stylish-yet-cozy hat.Ā
