Starting a Business, an AVS program, teaches the students the procedures necessary for starting and running a business. It teaches students how to research and process information, prepare a business plan outline, plan business activities and determine market analysis and marketing and sales strategies.

The program provides students with the necessary skills to determine the human, material and physical resources needed to start and run a business and teaches them how to organize and process the information needed to secure business financing.
