This course provides the mariner with the basic safety skills and knowledge required to be an effective team member, before being assigned aboard a ship.
Basic safety training and familiarization are provided in the areas of personal survival techniques, fire prevention and firefighting, first aid /CPR, and personal safety & social responsibilities. The program design allows mariners to complete the four modules individually or within 5 days.

This 4-hour course is designed to provide a general introduction to maritime security and raise awareness of security issues when alongside, at anchor and at sea and recognition of security threats.
This course will also be of value to others operating vessels on the water who may not be seeking U.S. Coast Guard documents, licenses or endorsements, or whose experience is not up to the minimum requirements established under ideal conditions.
Personal Safety and Social Responsibilities Course is Offered by Bluewater Maritime School.
This 3-day course is required for the individual that will be operating Fast Rescue Boats. This class covers all required theory and practical training. The assessments and practical training will be done on our RIB FRC as well as other QMT boats.
To refresh previous gained knowledge obtained in STCW VI/1-2 basic safety training. Valid STCW Fire prevention and Fire Fighting certificate and Valid maritim medical certificate.
