The Practical hands on afloat training for the Marine Sciences and Engineering students are offered in the campus itself through the state of art facility available in the “ GKM KAMAASHI ” – SHIP IN CAMPUS, which has the approval of Directorate General of Shipping, Mumbai.

Basic Training for Liquefied Gas Tanker Cargo Operations is offered by ANVAY Maritime Institute.This course is principally intended for candidate for certification for basic training for liquefied gas tanker cargo operations as specified in section A-V/1-2, paragraph 1 of the STCW code as amended
STCW which a prospective seafarer must do before proceeding to the sea. These courses under the STCW Convention (Standards of Training Certification and Watch keeping) are IMO (International Maritime Organization) requirements and cover the basic knowledge about the Safety & Survival at sea.
