Stenography

There is no difference between the Stenography and Shorthand words. Both are the same. In fact, Stenography means fast and short writing. It is also called ‘Quick writing’ or ‘Acceleration’ in English. Shorthand is a method of writing which can be written at a much faster pace than normal writing. Small symbols are used in this.

So we can say that “The writing in shorthand is called stenography“.Mostly there is a difference between the speed of writing and speaking. In general, the speed at which a skilled person writes by hand is quadruple, five times the speed at which he speaks.

In such a situation, there is a particular difficulty in writing the speech or speech of the speaker. The invention of acceleration was required to solve this difficulty. Which can cause a lot of handwriting in a very short time.

There are many methods of shorthand whereas Certain words and phrases used in all shorthand methods often have certain signs or shorthands. In this mode, a well-educated person can use these abbreviations to write at the same speed with which one can speak.

The abbreviation method is based on characters but Nowadays, many software programs also have a system of auto-complete, etc. which works as shorthand. Stenography is a good career for young people, it can be done after 10th standard.

There are many methods of writing this – Peatman is predominantly popular in English, the Rishi system and the Singh system also, in Hindi. By the way, every writer has his own special system.
