Continuing education has been an integral part of the University of Victoria since its inception in 1963. Today, the Division of Continuing Studies (DCS) provides adult and continuing education programming in co-operation with UVic faculties and community partners. Students explore the multitude of ways human beings communicate through storytelling and visual literacy as narratives rendered in visual form.
Youth participants explore and learn their ancestral ways through land-based teachings, storytelling, songs, and various forms of expression.
Using a Trickster developed method, artists will work with classes on a picture prompt selected by you.
This workshop offers an opportunity to learn a practical approach to storytelling; it will give you the tools to tell your unique and special stories.
