With so many people suffering from stress, anxiety and depression, to name a few, it's little wonder that more and more people are beginning to realize the importance of self-care. Learn the steps you can take to become more emotionally resilient so you can better manage stress and handle life's challenges.

What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?
The course is suitable for anybody who is interested in self-care and personal-development. Prior knowledge of the topic is not essential. However; to benefit fully from this course, you need to have a reasonable level of spoken English. If you are unsure please contact an advisor or the tutor.
How will I be taught, and will there be any work outside the class?
The session includes theory input, presentation, video, discussions, practice in small groups and pairs, as well as experiential learning exercises in class to integrate and embed your learning. Handouts will be provided.

We do also offer more specialist workshops based on the individual skill set of our practitioners and events that are occurring in the academic calendar. This course is for employers and employees at every level who want a better understanding of what triggers stress in the workplace. How employers can adapt the work environment to support its staff, and shared best practice to overcome and manage stress in the workplace.
The aim of this programme is to raise awareness of what ‘stress’ is and how to manage it, improve organisational performance, and reduce sickness and absence.
In this practical workshop session we will explore ways of including young people of all ages who experience anxiety some of whom may well be on the autism spectrum.
