Stress Management
This half-day course identifies causes and symptoms of workplace stress and remedial measures to combat them.
With stress, depression and anxiety now being the biggest cause of work-related absence, the benefits of taking a proactive, rather than reactive, approach to stress management are being increasingly recognised. Stress Management training is part of Make UK’s portfolio of wellbeing training, which is designed to embed a positive and supportive environment for a healthy and energised workforce.
This course can be provided for a group of people from your organisation at a time to suit you. Additionally, you can choose the delivery method; whether this is face-to face, at your office or offsite (perhaps at one of Make UK’s venues?), or via virtual classroom.
If required, we can develop a bespoke programme that focuses the learning outcome on your specific requirements. By embedding your organisation’s values, competencies and working practices training has great impact, consistency, and immediate relevance.

Our Story
Make UK champions and celebrates British manufacturing and manufacturers. Together, we build a platform for the evolution of UK manufacturing.
Britain is one of the world's biggest manufacturing nations. Almost 3 million people work in our sector and deliver almost half of all UK exports. Our companies drive over 60 percent of all UK research and development. As a result of that investment, manufacturing as we know it is changing, adapting, and transforming each and every day.
We’re at the cutting edge of innovation; leading the way in developing skills and driving competitive advantage for the UK.
What we do
We stimulate success for manufacturing businesses, helping them to meet their objectives and goals. We empower individuals and we inspire the next generation.
The Health and Safety Executive states that ‘work related stress develops because a person is unable to cope with the demands being placed on them’. This can come from any aspect of their life, but it often comes from demands placed on them at work.
