Stress can permeate our lives and cause both physical and mental suffering. If not properly managed, daily stress can lead to a plethora of symptoms: digestion problems, sleep disorders, fatigue, irritability, loss of concentration, loss of pleasure, impulsivity, impaired judgement, sadness, and many others. We now know that stress is also a significant risk factor for coronary artery disease.
Fortunately, there are ways we can reduce stress-related suffering, transform it, and use it to bring about gradual positive change.
