This course gives the participant an introduction to roles and responsibilities for safety in the workplace along with their general duties under the Saskatchewan OHS legislation.
This course gives the participant an introduction to roles and responsibilities for safety in the workplace along with their general duties under the Saskatchewan OHS legislation. Duties include workplace inspections, hazard identification, incident reporting, investigations, worker training and orientation.
Students will review Saskatchewan legislation in class and conduct their own tool box talk. After completion of the course participants will better understand their due diligence, legal requirements, organizational behaviour and safety culture.
