This course is designed to make supervisors, managers, project managers, employers, owners, and constructors aware of the legalities applicable to their workplace.
Competency is defined in the Occupational Health and Safety Act as an individual who is qualified because of knowledge, training, and experience to safely and effectively organize work and its performance. The competent individual is familiar with this Act and the Regulations that apply to the work they perform or supervise.
Barantas offers a two-day course in Supervisor Competency to provide supervisors with an understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and knowledge of any potential or actual danger to health or safety in the workplace.

WSIB and Early and Safe Return-to-Work processes (including case studies and modified duty development based on functional ability)
