The duties and rights of workers, supervisors and employers under Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA), the roles of health and safety representatives and joint health and safety committees, the regulatory bodies and health and safety system partners (entities designed under section 22.5 of the OHSA), recognize, assess, control and evaluate workplace hazards, definition of a “competent person”, making the workplace healthy and safe, the importance of being a role model and leader of health and safety in the workplace.
