Swing is a carefree and joyous dance that became popular in the 1940's. It is danced to up-tempo music from Benny Goodman, Louis Armstrong and 50's style rock and roll, to bands playing in today's current Los Angeles swing dance scene.
Swing is a group of related street dances that evolved from Lindy Hop. Swing dance partners consist of a leader and a follower. There are three main forms of Swing: Lindy Hop, West Coast Swing and East Coast Swing.
